This long neglected home was a dark and dated. Located on a prime lot in San Francisco’s coveted Sea Cliff neighborhood, this property had a lot going for it including classic Mediterranean detailing and the potential to capture spectacular views of the Golden Gate bridge.
This home required extensive renovation. We started with months of digging in the sand to replace the foundation. From there we moved on to update the rest of the property. A tired indoor pool on the lower level was redesigned into a half court regulation basketball court. Our favorite spaces include the expansive master suite with a new bay window to capture the bridge views and the charming solarium.
A new roof deck was designed to be hidden from site while providing 360 degree views and shelter from the elements. It also appeased the neighbors, and addressed historic preservation concerns. Completed while Principal at Aleck Wilson Architects.
