A classic San Francisco family home received a refresh, bringing it up to date in style. The property required a thorough renovation; all the systems and finishes needed to be updated, replaced or restored to their former glory. A primary challenge was incorporating a modern functional kitchen into the floor plan. The homeowners tasked us with creating an expansive light filled space that would be suitable for everyday use and large enough for family holiday gatherings. A breakfast area was expanded into the rear yard to gain access to a redesigned sculpture garden. All the early 1900’s plaster and trim work was preserved and restored. The result is a light, bright and timeless space for future generations to enjoy.
